My preferred way is to open a terminal, sign in as root (su -) and then type: "yum remove packagename" . Just take a look at the dependent packages that you might be removing too. There's always the chance that something important's involved.

Thanks. Worked well with one program but didn't work with another.

To be more specific, I have a program called Dropbox from http://www.getdropbox.com, how can I uninstall it?

Well, I don't know what error you've received, but since it's an RPM file, there's always the option of removing it with RPM: http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm/s1-intro-...t-started.html

In this case, (as root) "rpm -e ....." And, you'll notice that you've used a F10 version while you've got F11? Not recommended. Also, again with the dependency warning, I'd do the rpm --test before the rpm -e .
