Cool SSHD... confusion!

I have an Asus K53-SV laptop running my favorite linux distro... Fedora 16! and I have sshd running properlly and awesomely! I have a problem though that if I turn off my laptop and start it up again sshd is running in Failed state! I can not find one problem with my set up I have even disabled it restarted and enabled it but it still is in Failed state... my only option is to re-install fedora and then sshd works again... I want to be able to switch between windows and fedora without worrying about my sshd server not working again and me having to re-install it! I am curious if anyone has a similar problem... or what log I should be checking out to see exactly what is going down. I am very new to linux (I have been only playing with it for about 6 months now) and loving it it is just so frustrating trhat the only way I have found to get sshd working again is to re-install linux. PLEASE HELP!

Thanks in advance!

Re: SSHD... confusion!

Check /var/log/messages

grep sshd /var/log/messages

from a terminal window and see what shows up.

You could also just do a

yum reinstall openssh-server

There certainly should be no reason to reinstall Fedora itself.

Thumbs up Re: SSHD... confusion!

Well for ***** and giggles I restarted my computer and ssh is failed at the moment... the /var/log/messages hasa few "major" errors...

Jun 20 21:52:52 zen dbus[973]: [system] Activation via systemd failed for unit 'dbus-org.bluez.service': Unit dbus-org.bluez.service failed to load: No such file or directory. See system logs and 'systemctl status dbus-org.bluez.service' for details.

Other then that everything looks good haha...

I reinstalled openssh-server and it is still in the exact same failed state... I also do the

[zen@zen ~]$ systemctl status dbus-org.bluez.service
dbus-org.bluez.service
Loaded: error (Reason: No such file or directory)
Active: inactive (dead)

I reallylove fedora and am at a total loss here... not that I am a pro or anything but I am sure here is where I can get some answers or some more direction. So thank you for your help none the less
