Dell Inspiron 15 5565 Fedora 25 TPM2 i2c errors

when installing Fedora 25 X86_64,
(Dell Inspiron 15 5565 have amd-vi iommu, and tpm2, R5 and R7 445DX crossfire video cards, A10-9600P).
1. when booting i2c_designware caused crash warning! in modprobe.d blacklisted. booting OK.
2. sp5100_tco conflicts i2c_piix4, sp5100_tco blacklisted. only i2c_piix4 can work.
3. kernel command parameters iommu=pt iommu=1 must be provided, or boot ok, but gdm longin hung.
4. tpm2 not work, tmp_crb failed.
[root@xfor vchen]# journalctl -b-1 -o short-monotonic | grep -i tpm

Question Re: Dell Inspiron 15 5565 Fedora 25 TPM2 i2c errors

Please, try to disable in CMOS (BIOS) secure boot, and see what will happen???

Re: Dell Inspiron 15 5565 Fedora 25 TPM2 i2c errors

TPM is the hardware for encrypting, never interferes with fedora system without it. but it it exists there, make it work better than without! hardware wathdog in this most update FP4 laptop never works too. amd and dell never provide linux support, hope they do a favor, mostly less than 100 line of codes will solve this two hardware.

Then, you should submit this to RHL/Fedora kernel maintainers as Bugzilla, and ask them to make TPM2 to work, considering Linux (in other words make Fedora to support TPM, if secure boot is turned on in BIOS - my best understanding of what I have read in quotes).

If you do, please, could you post here Fedora kernel Bugzilla pointer and/or number, you've created?

Re: Dell Inspiron 15 5565 Fedora 25 TPM2 i2c errors

I blacklisted sp5100_toc disabled this hardware watchdog.
also disabled tpm_crb, not using hardware tpm.
FP4 is the newest 7thgen amd laptop hardware, I have read the two source codes, but without hardware's details, not knowing how to add driver functions. waiting for amd's driver support

So, I have the same laptop model with Fedora 25, and I've seen tpm errors myself while investigating that my OS randomly freezes, seemingly at random, requiring a power cycle to restart it. Were you experiencing that symptom? And did blacklisting those modules stop that behaviour?
