Sound plays in VLC, but not totem.

How to have Totem to play sound on MPG?

Moved to EOL (End Of Life) Versions.

No answer save to mention that many have had problems with totem, both here, and in other distributions that include it. I would just change the default player from totem to VLC if that's an option.

You probably need a codec to decode MPEG 1 Layer 2 Audio.
