libusb version question?

$ lsusb run just after plugging in the headset gives:

Problems start when connect this device?

Yes. connecting that device (USB headset with mic) is fine as long as no programs use sound, but as soon as something uses sound my keyboard input and some mouse input goes away until the device is unplugged.
