Core 5 not yet released and there's already an update?

I got an e-mail from the announce mailing list saying that there's already an update for Core 5's Xorg X11 R7 server (security related update). I would assume that's for the Test versions, as Core final, even though it will be released today (hopefully) has not been released yet (or has it? )
