Gnome extensions

With Firefox 52.0, it appears that access to exensions.gnome.org is broken.

By that I mean the port is not opened and therefore one can't check if one's extension has updates, or if there are new ones to install. Can't download any new extension to install it.

Anyone else experiencing this problem (Fedora 25 Gnome)

Re: Gnome extensions

There's a thread with a fix in it somewhere on the boards. You need a copr repo to get a package and a plugin for firefox. Both are linked in my post in that thread.

Re: Gnome extensions

A recent replacement to the Fedora Gnome Shell add-on had a link to the requirements within Fedora. That includes copr and a second link for chromium.

Re: Gnome extensions

Yep, same issue here with website. However, the extensions I use seem to work fine.

Has the support process been changed? I know the website doesn't seem to work, but it looks like the extensions are included in the @fedora repo.

Re: Gnome extensions

My list of extensions is slim
Manually here it is
1 alternate tab
2 caffeine
3 gno-menu second best extension
4 Hibernate Button
5 Launch New Instance
6 Notifications Alert
7 OpenWeather (jens version)
8 Pomodoro ( enabled only when I was doing hours at a time on the system)
9 Suspend Button
10 Taskbar The best extension
11 Topicons Plus Relocates the bottom left annoyance.

If I had to have only three, it would be OpenWeather, Taskbar, and gno-menu

Re: Gnome extensions

Don't know about Fedora, but on Arch I had to install a package "chrome-shell-extension" or something similar (not at home at the moment) and Firefox worked again with the extensions site. For some reason the extension for Chrome/ium also included support for Firefox, go figure.
