Rawhide installation

Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I had rawhide installed (F24) and then started getting updates for F25, and dnf started complaining about my locale settings. I decided to do a clean install of rawhide (March 1 snapshot) and couldn't even boot into it due to incorrect locale settings. This screenshot is what happens when I try to boot into the March 1 snapshot of rawhide. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Rawhide installation

F24 is being split from rawhide this month so F25 rpm files will be downloaded to your pc if you leave rawhide enabled at present.

March 1st snapshot will contain a mix of both F24 and F25 packages. If you have an earlier one try with that instead

Re: Rawhide installation

And... A lot of breakage, including locales at the moment, per AdamW, Fedora's QA guy.

Re: Rawhide installation

I tried disabling rawhide, enabling fedora, updates, and updates-testing, then doing a dnf distro-sync --releasever=24. That got rid of the f25 packages, but locales are still broken. Should I go back to the rawhide repo? BTW, locales are broken because /usr/share/i18n/locales and charmaps are empty. So downgrading glibc* from koji might fix that.

At this point in the F24 cycle, what repos should be enabled?

Re: Rawhide installation

moved to Rawhide since the OP was apparently trying to work with that.
Aw heck, let's all just go back to FC2 where we knew what was going on.

Re: Rawhide installation

Actually it's Mint. I'm on winter break down in Fla. and have my Fedora desktop back home. Mint's lots less cutting-edge, but it handles things on this lappy without danger of breakage. A major flaw has been discovered though! Did my taxes online and this year i OWE money instead of getting a refund! Clearly, Mint's fault!!!
