Mines is incorrectly identifying hidden mines

Please see the attached image as I'll refer to it using spreadsheet cell notation.

The upper left corner had 8 cells uncovered before this game ended. So imagine what this looked like before I took a snapshot of the failure.

Looking at cell A3 (1) says that one mine exists in either A2 or B2.
Looking at cell B3 (2) says that there are 2 mines in A2, B2 or C2.

Since there has to be a mine in either A2 or B2, then by process of elimination, cell C2 must have a mine.

When I placed a flag on C2 and attempted to proceed, it quit the game with the image shown. The game claims there is no mine at C2. That's not possible given the clues. Even the image of the failure proves that given the clues, C2 MUST have a mine.

Looks like you pressed the wrong mouse button or something like that.

The image clearly shows an exploded bomb at "C2".

Placing incorrect flags doesn't seem to do anything. You can place as many as you want until you run out of flags ;-)
