Yes, as long as the selected "Connector" is "Analog Output", speakers and headphones work as expected. I'm used to setting the default Windows device to headphones and basically disabling the speakers. In F12, that option disables the audio altogether.

i've seen several people report that, actually. I think the option doesn't work. I'm not sure what it is it's _supposed_ to do, but disabling all sound output surely can't be it I'll chat to Lennart about it.
