Update Failure

I have Fedora 11 installed but since the last round of updates I can no longer update or add software I get the following error response
Failed to Initialize;

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/PackageKit/helpers/yum/yumBackend.py", line 2800, in __init__
self.repos.confirm_func = self._repo_gpg_confirm
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/yum/__init__.py", line 699, in <lambda>

Can anyone help

thanks Paul

I'd first try opening a terminal, signing in as root (su) and then typing "yum clean all" and see if it clears.

rm -fv  /var/lib/rpm/__db.00*
rpm --rebuilddb    #Wait to finish
yum clean all
yum update --enablerepo=u*g
