Question Cross compiling userspace applications for ARM

Hi!

I was hoping to be able to cross compile applications for the Raspberry pi in Fedora.
Googel gave only the information that the gcc-arm-linux-gnu package can only build kernels.

Is there really nothing like Ubuntu's gcc-arm-linux-gnueabi package in Fedora?

There is also the matter of a debugger. I saw that Ubuntu users have a gdb-anyarch package. What do we use?

Re: Cross compiling userspace applications for ARM

I'm interested too. Ther are plenty of places to get an appropriate ARM cross-compilers (GCC) precompiled - that's not the issue. When you cross-compile an app you need all the target development flies (libraries and /usr/include files) and for Pidora you'd like the rpm database too.

It's my understanding that pidora has their own Koji service on a Canadian site, but frankly I've never used Koji, and it's more oriented to packaged apps than personal projects.

I haven't time right now, but if anyone cracks the code - please post.
