No they're active for 6, you'll either find no "6" directory or else you can't cd into
the FC6 directory. FC6 comes out tomorrow.

then how come each europe link I tested gives a "Can't change to directory" error
or else they don't have a 6 directory. I tried poland, romania, belgium, etc etc

Not that I want it now... I was just checking to see.
I'll probably torrent download it Friday

I got mine from a site in Spain but later I thought I'd grab the DVD but they'd shut off access.

It's noon on the 24th here!

There are various links to Torrents in an article on OSNews.com (spit, spit) Don't know how good they are, don't do Torrent myself. Here's one for the CDs:

I grabbed both DVDs from ftp://redhat.secsup.org/pub/linux/redhat/fedora/core/6/ on friday. Got them both in a couple hours which was great!

For everyone saying "it's the 24th where I live"...it's not just "out on the 24th", folks. It comes out at a specific TIME on that day, specifically, 10am Eastern time.

Yes, there are ways of getting it, but most people are better off waiting until the official release.

I have a question:
I have been using since t-1, and am currently using t-3, when *6* comes out, will i have to install it, or can i just update my test release 3 to become fc6?

Wow. Took me more than 8 hrs (maybe as much as 12) to get the CDs from a torrent last night. Granted it picked up speed late (about 130KB/s but it was down in the teens at times (many times).
