Fedora 12, LXDE won't update

Just installed the LXDE on HD and it seems faster than the Gnome version. When I go to graphics software update, I see 388 updates are available.

When I try to install it halts with the message "internal system error..." Error type >class 'yum.Errors.ReporError'. Error getting repository data for installed, repository not found. File: /usr/share/PackageKit/helpers/yum/yumBackend.py, Line 3125, in >module> main ()...

anyone have a solution?

When I use the terminal with the command su yum install update, states there is no available updates.
