Question madwifi fesora 12

hi everyone
i want to ask you something about fedora 12
does it still support the madwifi driver
i have tried to compile madwifi 0.94 that i got from svn and from sourceforge and it was succes, but the problem is it doesnt work. when i compile the source from subversion, i get the ath0 on iwconfig command but i can't get any wireless network on list of network. if i use the one from sourceforge, the iwconfig list even doesnt contain any ath*
i use atheros ar5007eg device

any help will be appreciated
