Yo Frankie washed out

Hi ,
I am new to Fedora , so far everything going pretty well
I installed Yo Frankie , and the background is very white . Its hard to make out any detail .
I have a P4 2.8 gig , 1.5 gig ram ddr , Radeon 9600xt video .
I dont think its hardware because I played it on Ubuntu .
Most things actually seem a little more responsive on Fedora , but this game is having the problem.
Any help is appreciated

I have the same problem and have a P4, 3GHz, 2GB ram and a nvidia 9500GT card. Worked fine in F11 though with same specs.
