fc17 stop working in china

I have a HP pavilion dm3 notebook, I intalled fc17 in the states, it was working fine here from internet accessing, email(gmail.com), printer setup and printing. But once I took it to beijing, china. things started to break. first I found the internet became very slow, gmail was not working at alll. google search snailed on for hours. does anyone else had the same experince, is there any fix(es)?

I think there is a firewall doing its great job.

The errors you describe are in no way related to Fedora [any release].

China is no friend of google, try other search engines, and use another email for the time beeing in china.
Bet you're experience will improve (a bit)...
