whew, that blue screen was painful.
Latest update
$ rpm -qi xorg-x11-drv-nvidia
Name : xorg-x11-drv-nvidia
Epoch : 1
Version : 304.32
Release : 1.fc17

Seems to have fixed it.

I did the downgrade, and there were some nvidia updates today but now my SL crashes or shows bad graphics.

have I missed something obvious?

I never tried the downgrade. so I can't speak to that.
I don't have any "bad graphics" but am having stability problems with FireStorm.
Testing latest Phoenix at moment.
