[Solved] How to rescue Evolution Contacts?

I am a Fedora 11 user and, being curious of it, I installed openSUSE 11.2 Milestone 8 after saving my previous /home (Fedora 11) in a FAT32 partition.
I deleted Fedora, I installed openSUSE, and I copied the .evolution folder from FAT32 to openSUSE home.
Inbox and Sent mail were correctly recognized, but not the account data neither the contact list.
Any idea how to import my buddy list?
Thanks in advance!!

you also need to copy the gconf settings (~/.gconf/apps/evolution ) and ~/.gnome2_private/Evolution .

I did it now. But the problem persists. I also did

chmod -R 777 .evolution

but nothing changed

Thanks finmetal
But doing so, i would loose some (important) mail i sent from the new installation.
Is there a way (e.g. a third-party utility) to convert the old addressbook.db file in another format, e.g. v-card or ldif, and then importing again into evolution?

edit: thanks dangermouse, i knew that, but i thought i could copying the folder in a painless way :-)

dangermouse: I left that out because I figured he didn't actually have the original install he's migrating from any more.

anyway, this whole thread is just another nice illustration of why it's a good idea to run your own mail server =)

Hi people,
sorry for delay. I solved just replacing a contact listed i already backed-up few days before. I just loose few contacts, but it's ok.
Next time I will use the back-up tool, rather than exporting the whole .evolution folder!
Cheers.
