How to change Gnome-Shell theme?

I'm wondering how it's possible to change my Gnome-Shell theme. I want to use this theme: http://tiheum.deviantart.com/#/d47vmgg

Re: How to change Gnome-Shell theme?

From that page:
Quote:
Installation:
Extract the zip file and put the 'Faience' folder inside your ~/.themes directory. Use the Gome-Shell theme extension to select Faience theme.

To install Aurulent Sans, download and extract the zip file and put all the OTF files in your ~/.fonts folder.

Older versions (Gnome 3.0 compatibilty) : [link]
That should do it.

Re: How to change Gnome-Shell theme?

First, you'll need to get the gnome-shell-extensions which allow you to theme, including the gnome-tweak-tool. Then download your theme file, unpack it, park the resulting folder in the .themes folder in your account's home directory. (you'll need to create this folder.)

Then use the Advanced Settings dialog to select that theme from the list.

EDIT: Dutchy has you covered on the fonts.

Re: How to change Gnome-Shell theme?

Well, I went and installed the theme extensions that were available in Add/Remove Software and they did absolutely no good. I also created the .themes folder and put the Faience folder in it, but that did no good either.

Re: How to change Gnome-Shell theme?

You may have to re-start Gnome Shell. And this time, the best way to do that is probably to log out, and then back in.

Please list the steps you have performed so far. Be as complete as possible.

EDIT: You should see the following screens when you use the gnome-tweak-tool (Advanced Settings)
