Gnome Screenshot

I decided to change the 2 panel layout thats default in FC3

u kno how it has actions take screenshot

how do i add that to the normal menu that just has the redhat symbol?

or how do i use it from the run application menu

i think that genome has an applet called screenshoot

go to the menu and do a right click. see if you can add the applet. the creenshots should be then in your home directory

or just press the "printscreen" button on your keyboard, it will open the screenshot program in gnome

The Gimp also has a nice screenshot taking utility. You can access it by going to File > Aquire > Screenshot. If you don't want to have the gimp displayed in the pic, you can just open it in another desktop, set up a timer, and switch to the one you want. Since you often will want to edit/save your screenshots with gimp anyway, this is a handy built-in feature.
