USB slows boot

Before the login screen displays, this shows for a while

That seems to pertain to some USB device connected to your machine, the easiest way to find out which one is to remove all your usb devices one by one until the error goes away...

I also had this error, and after a lot of looking about found it's due to USB power protection being used.
If you use s USB device that tries to use too much power, the USB system has a security switch to prevent electrical faults and it's now active.
To reset this, shutdown your computer and shutdown the power supply. Wait a few minutes and reconnect. Error should be cleared. If you're using a laptop, take the battery out and disconnect from mains power. On a regular PC just switch the power supply off.
