using macbook pro with icewm

hey folks, im running Fedora 25 (quite well) on a macbook pro. Currently im running the gnome classic
and all the cool keyboard function buttons (like the volume control and the keyboard brightness, etc) work. but If I wanted to run icewm, they dont seem to work.. whats the magic program(s) i need to run under icewm to get these things to work?
