Gimp add-ons and plug-ins

Hello

I have installed with Fedora 17 KDE my first non-Debian distro.

Now I am slowly installing my vital programs. Today it is Gimp. I installed what was in the repos, but there a quite a number missing. Among the most important: the plug-in-registy and gmic.

Has any one an idea how to get there?

I don't know about the plugin registry, but I do know G'MIC needs to be updated to the latest version to be compatible with GIMP.

Just drop the file in ~/.gimp-2.8/plugins.
