FC12 USB modem md400

I am trying to connect a new Ericsson MD400 to my my computer but no way! I cannot make it work. I have tried all sort of advice e.i NetworkManager, ModemManager, HSOconnect, Ozercdoff etc

Can anyone pse help me with a simple detailed guide for idiots through all this? How do you really use NetworkManager? It sounds easy but it doesn't work

Any help is welcome Sarah

Ah, another broadband usb modem. I haven't seen this one before, but it may be similar to the Novatel. Just saw a thread the other day about that one, it may give you some hints.
