Black screen on boot after installing catalyst drivers

I installed fedora 17 and everything was working well until trying to install the catalyst drivers installed them using this guide: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=155503

Now I boot into a black screen. I did boot into text mode and run at configuration - initial. No errors were reported. I rebooted and still had a black screen.

My card is the hd 6950. It works fine with the catalyst drivers in debian testing.

Any ideas?
