Question Keyboard/input problems

Hello

I have a couple of keyboard/input problems with my FC2 (Gnome).

1. I have the "Keyboard indicator" applet in my panel. In the beginning I used US and Slovak keyboards with Alt-Shift switching and everything was working fine. Then I added Polish and Alt-Shift stopped working. After some playing with it, I discovered that any 2 of US, SVK and PL are working okay, but not all three of them. That's quite annoying.

And that leads me to the more difficult stuff...

2. Trying to figure out how to input Japanese in an English session... I read there's the new IIIMF thing, and I managed to write Japanese in gedit started from the command line with some locale/im modifications (found that in http://apac.redhat.com/iiimftest/tes...-testcase.html).
But what I think I need is to have JP in the Keyboard indicator + the Input Method switcher applet.

To sum it up, what I need is an English session with US, Slovak, Polish and Japanese keyboard. Been searching a couple of forums, but couldn't figure a solution to have it all working together.

Any help greatly appreciated.
