Unhappy fedora wont boot "***an error occurred during the filesystem check?"

hi guys i was recently trying to boot my fedora 12 installation of a usb device
today when i went to boot it i enter my LUKS pasfrase and it stops with an error mesege:

***an error occured during the filesystem check 
***droping you to a shell; the system will rebot
*** when you leave the shell
***warniong -- SELinux is active 
***disableing security enforcement for system recovery
***Run 'setinforce 1' to reeinable 
Give root password for maintenance
(or type control-D to continue):
i enterd the root password

(repair filesystem) 1 #
what do i need to type in order to fix my file system and boot fedora 12
help would be appreciated

I would type cat /proc/mounts to make sure that the root filesystem is read only (ro), if it is not ro then type something like
mount -t ext4 -o remount,ro /dev/root /

then run the filesytem check on it
fsck.ext4 /dev/root

(you may have another root device besides /dev/root and substitute it, check the output of the cat command to see)
