Live CD won't boot
I just downloaded the latest desktop live CD image, burned it to a CD, and tried to boot it on my Dell Optiplex 160L. When I pick Start Fedora, I get some lines of really scrunched text that are hard to read, but I think it says:
only detected on i686 CPU.6 64 CPU, but only detected on i686 CPU.6-64 CPU but ropriate for your CPU... and more stuff. Any ideas?

OK
What hardware are you installing to (mac, 32-bit pc, 64-bit pc). If you burned the iso in mac, should have no issues (or at least I have had no issues burning iso's on a legacy eMac).

Re: Live CD won't boot
Apparently your computer only supports 32 bit operating systems. Please try again with the 32 bit version of the LiveCD and the Desktop Environment of your choosing.

Re: Live CD won't boot
It is a Dell Optiplex 160L, Pentium 4. The image I downloaded says x86_x64, so I figured it would work on both. Let me try to locate a X86-only image. Thanks for the post! I'll update results.

Re: Live CD won't boot
OK, that did it. I did have a strange experience though, after installation and reboot, during the registration it gave me a screen to create a user account. It wouldn't respond to the keyboard, so I couldn't type anything. I had to click Next to continue, and then add a user through the admin interface.
Thanks for the help!
