Bioshock crashes upon launch

Sometimes I will get a tiny "Bioshock" splash screen, then nothing.
If I reboot my Linux and try opening it again. It disables one of my monitors, increases the size of my screen and then nothing...

Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x0000004c in 32-bit code (0x10e94780).

I'm running Fedora 17 - 64 Bit

An update, When to configure through PlayonLinux. Changed the video to 1024.
This actually got it to load to the main menu. However...

the main menu isn't showing any of the options.

So eventually I get bored and press alt+F4 to close. Then I can no longer get the game to load again.
