Flash doesn't work sometimes

Hello,

I'm new to Linux (though I have tried it a couple of times, so I've some understanding) and I just installed Fedora 12 on my computer. Installation went perfect, even tweaked it a little bit and everything works; except for Flash Player.
I installed it by following some guide and I can watch YouTube vids and all, but sometimes the YouTube video player doesn't respond to my mouse. I can click on play/pause but it gives no response whatsoever; I can click on the sound but it gives no response whatsoever. Sometimes it all works perfectly, but when I click on the next vid it suddenly doesn't respond anymore.

Can you help me fix this? Thanks in advance,

FallenUnia

It could be the Flash player binary crashing. I haven't used it much on Fedora 12, but on older versions this would happen constantly. I would make sure you are using the latest version of Firefox, and Flash. Use "yum upgrade firefox" to upgrade Firefox, and use the latest Flash rpm from Adobe's website. Let us know if that helps or not.

I upgraded Firefox and already installed the newest Adobe Flash package available from their website. The problem still occurs

One last thing you can try is to ensure you have the latest "mozplugger" package installed:

Code:
yum upgrade mozplugger
I don't know if there's an update to that one, since FC12 was released. If there isn't, you can check on the FC12 FTP site and see if there's a newer package in the "testing" area; there's a folder called "testing" on ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com (or a mirror), for each Fedora distribution that has packages that are currently being tested. I don't have the exact path of the "testing" folder, but it's under one of the subfolders /pub/linux/fedora/... Newer packages reside in here before they are approved and released under the regular updates area.
