Yeah, no one should be saddled with the odious task of weeding that briar patch.

Maybe - if it's possible - make the Development Forum of the current release Read-Only,
but keep it in plain sight near the top of the Support subforum where new installers could
find it more easily.

My thinking was, given the number of EOL posts that still turn up in General etc., it might save us more work to be more explicit about versions in the titles for current and EOL sections. But that only works if people read the section titles, which isn’t always apparent!

It's an easy edit to change version numbers on the Forum titles. I like numbering them, since new members may not know which are "current" numbers and which are "EOL".

And yeah, we can either move active Development threads over to current version or just leave the Development open a bit longer. We'll play with that one. I'm thinking that moving them's the better way. Otherwise, people will tend to start new threads in the old Dev. Forum.
