Kernel Error Present

I have seen this error in System Mail lately. I'm using F11 32bit.

Code:
WARNING: Kernel Errors Present
    Buffer I/O error on device sr0, l ...: 4 Time(s)
    end_request: I/O error, dev sr0, sector ...: 4 Time(s)
device sr0 is my dvd/cd drive...why would it have kernel errors? AFAIK, it's working normal. What exactly does it mean? I wonder if this could be part of my system freezing problems?

Thnx.
