Long winded article that says absolutely nothing.
Speculation is fun though;
This contingency plan is pretty obvious, though: Android. It's the only viable option, since the company no longer has the resources or the people to offer up a home-cooked alternative platform. There's no doubt in my mind that Nokia has Lumias and other devices running Android in their labs, as a backup plan for when WP8 fails like WP7 did.
** If nokia wanted to remain ON TOP, instead of getting driven to the bottom with jet propulsion, they should have switched to Android LONG ago.
MS bought [into?] nokia for the simple reason that they wanted nokia to drag them to the top. Heh heh, funny how instead, MS dragged nokia straight to the bottom.
wimo 8 is no different than wimo 7, its just a little more useless glitter sprinkled on a turd. We know what will happen to nokia.
Oh, and I doubt that nokia will have the brains to go with Android.
