Virtualization: no network access for guest

I have a dual core 64-bit laptop running F20, and I got it to run Windows 7 as a guest through virtualization: qemu and virt-manager. Problem is: Win7 cannot access network. Is there some standard way to troubleshoot this? The network device driver is installed. Many thanks.

(I didn't touch virtualization before).
