HP printer has suddenly stopped working with fedora 11

I installed fedora 11 on this machine about 3 weeks ago. My printer, an HP Photosmart C4200, worked fine out of the box.

But I discover today that I cannot print anything. Not even a test page using CUPS (http://localhost:631/printers/). If I try to print something, it sits in the queue, but does not get printed.

CUPS says that the status of my printer is: Paused - "/usr/lib/cups/filter/hpcups failed".

This printer was working fine as of a week ago. Since then, I've applied updates, which have included updates to the packages cups, cups-libs, cups-pk-helper. Something has broken in the meantime.

Has anybody else had this problem?

I've had strange luck upgrading cups in the past. My suggestion would be to remove the printer and try to install it again. If that doesn't work, I'd try uninstalling cups, delete all of the config files for cups (in /etc/cups), and install it again and try one more time from scratch.

Right click on your printer, make sure it's ENABLED (and set as default where applicable)

The right answer was the one by szilagyic: I deleted the printer (in CUPS, i.e. http://localhost:631), then reinstalled it. Now it works fine.
