Exclamation Dracut warning after boot!

I booted up this morning (fedora 16 updated yesterday) and when I boot up I get:

dracut warning: unable to process initqueue
dracut warning: /dev/lv_root doesn't exist
dracut warning: /dev/lv_swap doesn't exist

The new partitions (after we got rid of lvm set-up) are:
/dev/sda1 is my boot partition
/dev/sda2 is the swap
/dev/sda3 is the root
/dev/sda4 is my home

Originally I had a LVM set-up but I redid all my partitions and got rid of windows completely and I think grub after updating it went back to the old set-up and I have no idea where to modify the updated changes... If anyone can give me any direction I would appreciate it. Als oyou should know I am booted up right now with a live cd.

Thanks in advance

Re: Dracut warning after boot!

Using the live CD terminal:
Code:
su -
mkdir /mnt/rootfs
mount /dev/sda3 /mnt/rootfs
for i in dev proc run sys
do
    mount --rbind "/$i" "/mnt/rootfs/$i"
done
chroot /mnt/rootfs
# Check /etc/fstab is correct!
mount -a
swapon -a
Now you are effectively running a terminal into your installed system. Check /etc/defaults/grub looks sensible, then reinstall GRUB:
Code:
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
grub2-install /dev/sda
You might need to regenerate initramfs images too:
Code:
cd /boot
# Run "dracut -f INITRAMFS_IMAGE KERNEL_VER" for each installed kernel, e.g.:
dracut -f initramfs-3.5.2-3.fc17.x86_64 3.5.2-3.fc17.x86_64

Re: Dracut warning after boot!

This is how I had it working after:

Boot up a LIVE CD!

Mount /dev/root/ and home and boot!

In /etc/default/grub replace:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="rd.md=0 rd.dm=0 rd.lvm.lv=vg_bri/lv_root KEYTABLE=us quiet rd.lvm.lv=vg_bri/lv_swap SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 rhgb rd.luks=0 LANG=en_US.UTF-8"
with
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="rd.md=0 rd.dm=0 rd.lvm=0 KEYTABLE=us quiet SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 rhgb rd.luks=0 LANG=en_US.UTF-8"

(if your root in mounted in /mnt/hdd):
# mount -t proc proc /mnt/hdd/proc
# mount -o bind /dev /mnt/hdd/dev
# chroot /mnt/hdd /bin/bash

grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
grub2-install /dev/sda

after that I restarted and I was good Thanks for the help anyways Gareth!
