I have a logitech LS21 2.1 speaker system. how to enable surround sound in pulseaudio with this configuration on Fedora 17?
it is a ALC892 7.1 surround onboard Intel HDA audio.
Tried editing /etc/pulse/daemon.conf
Code:
default-sample-channels = 8
; default-channel-map = front-left,front-right,subwoofer
but, there is no sound from "rear left" observed when I ran:
heard front-left,front-right and no sound from rear-left.
Code:
speaker-test -c3 -l1 -twav
Do I need to remap channels? Will someone guide Me regarding this. I am having a DH67CL ATX motherboard with 7.1 channel onboard audio.
Code:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 05)
