fc11 sound has never worked, any ideas?

on fc7-10 the sound on my laptop worked, in fc11 it is broken. just did a yum update



How to get sound up and going?


card:

lspci|grep -i audio

try running 'alsamixer -c0 -Vall' and turn everything up full

That seems to be a common problem.

I had to so the same but I has to make sure I altered the volume for the correct device. I remember doing quite a lot of Googling before I got there.
