Does anyone have an idea why some of us are experiencing the issue discussed in this thread: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=245917
Last week when i installed F13 x86_64 and the nvidia driver (akmod) as per leigh123linux instructions, it worked fine. Today when i attempt to install, i get the error:
Running rpm_check_debug
Running Transaction Test
Transaction Check Error:

Did anything change?
Saw something similar when I tried to install audacity (but audacity-freeworld) installed fine:

hello
i have same problem with skype
I will file a bugzilla on this and report back the #. Thanks for all of the the replies... it gives me some reassurance that I didn't mess up my config or install somehow. It would have been surprising, though, because it was the first package I attempted to install after the fresh install of Fedora 13.
Edit: filed bugzilla here https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=597583

Threads merged.
Try post #14
This solved the issue for me too, but I had to do the "su" as shown instead of "sudo yum install". I don't know why it makes a difference, but it does.
Thank you!

sudo isn't set up by default in Red Hat based Linuxes.

Actually doing this in reverse order worked here. ie:
I installed the packages I wanted to and then ran 'yum clean all' and 'yum update' and it upgraded the x86_64 package.Code:# yum downgrade nss-softokn-freebl ... # yum --enablerepo=u*g install nss-softokn-freebl.i686

Not sure why I didn't get that originally. leigh123linux is absolutely correct. The method in post # 14 works.
