i need direct rendering

hi all;

following the xorg release log i put Option "RenderAccel" "True" in my xorg.conf file and they damn system still kept telling me the sirect rendering isn;t on. and i got really poor results from glxgears, can anyone please help.

if you can tell us what kind of video card may be we will be able to help.....ati, nvidia, etc....

you can also visit the HOW-TO forum you will find something there that you may need....
