Small fonts in Firefox

Hi, I just upgraded from Fedora 7 to Fedora 8 and I really like the new Fedora 8.
Fedora is now becoming much better than Ubuntu.
But I still have some problems after upgrading...
In Fedora 7 my Firefox fonts (the fonts of the menus e.g File, Edit, View, History, etc...) were displaying correctly but after installing Fedora 8 it wasn't anymore.
The menu font in Firefox is really small (I nearly can't read.) It's really annoying.

I think the video card driver isn't working properly in Fedora 8 because my desktop fonts are also smaller (but I know how to change this, but after I did, firefox still didn't display correctly).

My Video Card specifications are: ATI Radeon R350 [Radeon 9800 Pro] (with 128MB Video Memory)
I also want to mention, my card is working properly in Fedora 7 and Ubuntu 7.10 (After installing the fglrx driver using the 'Restricted Drivers Manager').

I really don't know how to fix this, I'm just a Linux newbie.
Thanks in advance!

(PS: Sorry if my English is bad, my native language is Dutch)

have you tried installing Swiftfox? the fonts in that seem better than the firefox fonts

Grab the version for your machine and download it to your desktop. (In
> Gnome) right-click on it and select 'Properties' got to the
