750 gb hard drive compatible with Fedora 8?

Hi I was thinking about buying this hard drive for my server and was wondering if it would be compatible with a Dell Dimension 4300, Fedora 8 Box. The machine has ide connectors. I would be using it for a file server with samba. Could it do the task?
