Do RHEL 5 Bugfixes come back to Fedora 6?

I know RHEL 5 is based off of fedora 6. When bugs are fixed in RHEL 5 do those same patches get applied to fedora 6? Thanks.

FC6 is now dead. No more updates (EOL).

In general, Red Hat tries to push its bug fixes upstream. While FC6 is EOL as lazlow said, if a bug shows up in RHEL 5 that applies to F7 or F8, they will try to push it up to the latest upstream package.

But that is going to be a relatively rare occurrence. The versions of most things in F7 or F8 are generally a couple of generations newer than what is in el5.

True, in most cases it works the other way. i.e, bug gets fixed in F8 which eventually makes its way into RHEL 5 or 6.
