That is so nice of you to show me a trial run of that case, about <syslog-ng> and <rsyslog> packages
Now, which is the one that needs to be selected (if one is exclusive of the other because of mutual inconsistency)?
Also, i see "allowdowngrade" plugin and "presto" plugin in your case, which i think i do not have.
Do i need to get them from somewhere, if so from where?
I am yet to run update again
By the way do you think that doing a task using the <terminal> mode and line-by-line command prompt mode
is better and safer (whatever it means!) than use of the GUI´s etc. . . ?
And now of course, in this case it is the <yum> program, but sometimes we may have alternatives there as well(!)
Do i make sense in questioning? Maybe it is borm out of my innate ignorance or incompetence . . .
Sorry to bother you with my crap questions if they are so . . .
