hello i have the new sony vaio VGN-CR131E the webcam is not recognized i tried ricoh it didnt recongnize it ricoh has driver till sony visual communication VCC 5 mine is sony visual communication VCC 6. Any help?

second question, my fiance has the same machine but has an ati x2300 and we are unable to make the vga work properly desktop effect are not runing :S any suggestion.

For the camera? Nope. For the ati card, do you have the fglrx driver installed? If so, how was it installed?

i installed it using yum i downloaded livna than kmod-fglrx and than i runned the init 5 instead of 3 than i downloaded the driver form ati double click on it and installed the catalyst when i click enable desktop effect nothng white screen u have to do esc to have the screen back if witht the catalyst it gives unable to start desktop effect?
