Does anyone know if Fedora 8 will support these hardware:
Broadcom BCM 43xx wireless adapters (past 1Mbs speed with fwcutter/ndiswrapper)
Radeon Mobility x1300 on non Vesa compliant drivers (ATI drivers)
The reason I ask is because I'm currently running 7 on my Dell E1505 laptop and it has these devices however they do not work properly.... Graphics look like crap on the Vesa drivers (resolution is something like 1024 by 768, should be 1024 by 800. When primary driver is switched to the ATI driver (Radeon) it comes up with an X.org error that cannot be fixed.
Perhaps this is a problem with my X installation and someone can direct me to a solution.
The wireless card is most important as I don't have a spare for this one and using it with such a low speed is rather frustrating at times. I'm currently using a chopped apart windows driver to replace the outdated fw4 with fw5 (I believe those are the files... I'm at work currently and don't have it on hand)
