Well i get to where i copy what u told me to but i cant exit, when i type in WQ + Return it just types in wq and enters a line
linux is so hard

Nvm alright i used nano because its a lot easier

thanks for the help, now i gota question how hard is it to get my wireless card working with fedora. Idk what brand it is or anything its the card that came with the laptop. any help would be golden.

For vi, you forgot : the colon and then wq. Anyway

To display your hardware, try:

That is my wireless card or im pretty sure, i tried googleing it nothing showed up. Any suggestions?

even without editing you can make it happen, take pshi' advice. maybe you'd just missed that part. if it wont work do the other stuff.
