Thanks. Still not working though. The info talks about installing RPM but all I get is a bin and a bunch of other stuff. I have been at this for a while and I'm getting a headache. I am still learning how to do this stuff and really don't understand yet what works with what yet.

Have you installed Sun's Java? Try here:

http://www.freewebs.com/dnmouse/index.htm

There are instructions for installing Java (as well as a whole bunch of other stuff) or there's a script to do the job for you. Although doing it by hand is fun and educational

I and others have posted instructions in the forum on installing Limewire/Frostwire and a quick search back will turn them up. Once Java's installed it's as easy as running (Frostwire, in my case)

/opt/frostwire/runFrostwire.sh

That was exactly what the doctor ordered. Thank you so much. I spent so much time banging my head on the wall that I used to script. But, I will look at your instructions and what-not so that I don't have to rely on them in the future. I was in the middle of trying to get the latest version of java, it was not working because of a helper file issue, when I saw your reply to this thread. You saved me a lot of headaches!!

Take it one step at a time and don't be afraid to get your feet wet. There are no sharks to bite off your toes No one woke up one day and knew how to configure Linux, we all had to do some reading and follow some guides, etc. (except maybe people like Leigh, Seve and a few others, who seem to have been born with the smarts) Banging the head on the wall is part of the learning process Once you do a few things 'by hand' you'll notice it starts to make more sense.
