Gnome gone after KDE install?

hi Guys
I've installed KDE from Gnome Add/Remove Software util... Now it seems that my Gnome is gone. I can't choose at the Log-In / Welcome screen.... (I just want it back because the KDE I installed is a very simple one without any UI elements... just anXterm.. thats it)

Anybody knows how to bring my Gnome back? Or to tweak my KDE that it is not longer looking like a 1984-style Unix??? ... and of course, I am real Linux newbee.+(.... so please help

cheers,
Jan
